Hi everyone! My name is Cole, and I am a first year graduate student in the Stephenson group. I would be excited to serve as a social coordinator in CGSS to help bring everyone together. The stressbuster event was one of my first introductions to the UBC chemistry community, and I am interested in making similar events to further strengthen our community.

As a previous and current member-at-large, I have assisted in many SoCo-related events, such as your beloved stressbusters, holiday skits, CCIE, and pancake breakfast. My goal as SoCo would be to continue running these events in an executive position, but also to propose new events. Last year, I helped revive the table tennis tournament, co-designed Sports Day, and obtained a new microwave for the grad lounge. Additionally, I believe I can support the current SoCos because my personality tends towards being more solution-oriented, which matches well with Jae's creativity and Evan's spontaneity.
